Getting Back into the swing of things

Well--- that was one dismal summer.

I first want to apologize for being MIA for so long; the thing about a lifestyle blog is that you have to actually have a life to have something to blog about.
If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that (1) I haven't been doing much of anything and (2) I really hurt my back at the beginning of July. By hurt I mean I couldn't stand up, couldn't walk. I was stuck at home and even opening my mouth to talk hurt, I kid you not.
At first it was thought that I was suffering from complications from a tailbone fracture I had in the winter.
I started with low level laser treatments but, was pretty much stuck unable to walk, or really do much of anything.
At the beginning of September I had enough movement that I was able to get into the chiropractor.
X-rays were taken of my spine and it turns out I have three degenerated disks that are pressing on nerves and causing sciatica. I will eventually need surgery but, at the moment I'm trying to get back to my normal and hold off surgery until the new year.

So after three months of not really being able to do any crafting, cooking or bath product making I am finally on the mend and getting back into the swing of things.

I don't want to make any promises but, I am hoping to get started on the Podcast, get a few beauty product review videos up and also come the holiday season, I plan to start posting all new bath product tutorials.

Thank you so much for your patience with me and I am so excited for my recovery to progress, so I can get back to regular life!

  1. Oh no, I hope you are much better now. Not sure, if that would help, but you could try moringa leaf powder and seeds. It is very healing and nutritious plant. I had very low energy for a while, and started taking about 3 seeds a day and powder in the smoothies (just 1 teaspoon -it is strong), and my energy is much better. Of course, back is more than that, but it might help, you never know.

    1. Thanks for the tip I will have to give it a try!
